Taking a break from school – life is wonderful! We’re all in full swing of making gifts for each other. There’s sewing and digital paper crafting, cardboard crafts and baking. Plus we were recently given the game “Skip-Bo” and have had many happy games the past few weeks.
I’ve also nearly finished my third pair of knitted socks. I love doing these. I need to branch out now and find another pattern. I will say that I felt confident enough with this pair that I downsized the pattern on my own, and they turned out great.
I’ve been taking pictures of some of the things I’m making so I can share with you in the coming weeks some simple homemade gifts. Aren’t homemade gifts the best? With a little thought you can even get your little ones to make homemade gifts that people actually enjoy receiving.
Who hasn’t felt at some point like they are a failure as a housekeeper? This post will encourage you.
After a busy day of crafting, cooking, teaching, taking care of my babies I like to relax before bed with a book. Now I have science to back me up on this.
Children today are being raised with more things and activities than ever before. They don’t need all of that stuff though. This post is a good read. It also includes a list of what children do need.
This is the gift I’m making for our three little guys. They need something for carrying their Bibles and whatever else they’re bringing to church. I’ve made this pattern before. It’s super easy and fun.
I hope you get to spend a lot of happy times with your loved ones over the next couple of weeks. I know we’ll be enjoying our time together as a family.
