Today I want to talk about the things I love about my digital scrapbooking software. I’m hoping to convince you that this can be a fun and easy way to get your pictures off of your camera and social media and into books for your family to enjoy.
I have tried several online companies’ digital scrapbooking features. I have not found any of them to be as user-friendly as my Forever Artisan digital scrapbooking software. However, if you go with one of the online companies that allows you to upload your photos and scrapbook them on their site, I won’t be in the least offended. I will just be so happy to know that you are putting your memories into a more permanent form. However, there are several reasons why Artisan is a good choice.
Artisan is inexpensive.
It costs $60 American, but there is no shipping since it’s a download. There’s also no waiting. You can be scrapbooking within minutes of your purchase. This will be one of the best things that you ever buy for yourself. You can use this for not only making scrapbooks that can be printed up, but you can also use it for making invitations, gifts, cards, etc.
I’ve moved this program from one computer to another as I’ve had to buy new laptops. I’m going on six years of using this program.
Artisan is clean and easy.
When I do my paper scrapbooking there is always set up (30 seconds) and clean up which is a bit longer. With Artisan I just open up the program on my laptop and start. There is no clean-up and the program itself is very user-friendly. My children can use this program and have.
Artisan is versatile.
I did a post on my love of digital scrapbooking and gave examples of ways I’ve used this program outside of making scrapbooks that I had printed up. I have used Artisan to make games, bookmarks, decorated verses or quotes to frame, canvases, invitations, Facebook cover photos, Pinterest covers, recipe cards and pictures to decorate a clock. We’ve used Artisan for school projects. The ways you can use this program are only limited by your imagination.
Artisan is portable.
Since I downloaded Artisan to my laptop, I can take it with me anywhere. I have taken it with me on vacation and started a storybook about our vacation while we’re in the middle of it and the memories are fresh for journaling. I’ve worked on projects while traveling in the van.
Have you ever used a digital scrapbooking program? What did you do with it?
